Emelia and Helen are the founding members of Fleurieu Skin Health. They share a passion for accessible health care and a keen interest in the multiple applications of regenerative medicine. Most importantly, they love what they do and have a great time working as a team!
GENERAL PRACTITIONER
Dr. Helen Bryden
Dr. Helen Bryden has been practising as a Consultant GP since 2001. She began her career in the United Kingdom with the NHS, where she managed large patient groups despite limited clinical resources. This environment strengthened her ability to triage promptly, assess clinical presentations critically, and deliver evidence-based, resourceful care.
Dr. Bryden is known for developing innovative, safe, and cost-effective treatment plans, always prioritising health optimisation in her decision-making.
She also holds a Master of Natural Sciences (Cambridge) and a PhD in Cellular Biology, making her an invaluable member of the Fleurieu Skin Health team.
NURSE PRACTITIONER
EmeliaTipple
Emelia Tipple is an endorsed Nurse Practitioner who began her career in 2012. Early on, she developed a keen interest in Intensive Care nursing, which sparked her fascination with the interconnectedness of body systems and the complexities of critical care. With a dual passion for skin health and dermatology, Emelia tailored her studies to explore the relationship between the skin and other organ systems.
She holds postgraduate qualifications in critical care nursing, dermatology nursing, laser safety, and a Master of Nurse Practitioner.
Emelia brings a decade of experience in aesthetic nursing, as well as additional expertise in medical dermatology and skin cancer medicine.
